This week my poem, My Girlfriend Asked Me to Write About Pride, came out in Stick Figure Quarterly with a bunch of other amazing poets from the Lehigh Valley and beyond! I’m so grateful to have been asked to submit for this issue and that this poem in particular is out in the world.
As we have already started another political season, it’s important to remember that there’s more to candidates policies than your own personal taxes. There are policies out there that will direly affect women, children, LGBTQIA+, voting rights, civil rights, and so much more. Please do your due diligence to look up Project 2025 by the Heritage Foundation – it is an attack on all of us. Educate yourself so you know exactly what is at stake this November.
